Description
Norfolk County Council is working in partnership with Broadland District Council todeliver a series of surfacing and infrastructure improvements along the Bure ValleyPath between Aylsham and Wroxham. This scheme will be funded via Interreg(France Channel England) and delivered through EXPERIENCE. This tender is seeking to award a contract for infrastructure and re-surfacing workson the Bure Valley Path. This is a 9-mile (14 km) rural walking and cycling trail inNorfolk, England. It runs alongside the Bure Valley Railway, a narrow-gaugeheritage railway running from Wroxham to Aylsham. The contact is for the delivery of infrastructure works to make signifi cantimprovements to sections six sections of the 9-mile walking and cycling path. Theapproximate length of total re-surfacing required will be 3000 metres. The contractof works will include widening, levelling and re-surfacing of the path with thesuccessful contractor suppling and transporting materials to site. The contract alsoincludes the installation of heritage infrastructure (gates, fencing and seating), milemarkers and gateway arches.
