Work description
Burnley Borough Council has, as part of a partnership with East Lancashire Community Safety Partnership, has been successful in a bid to the Home Office's Safer Streets Fund. The Funding's purpose is to deliver schemes that reduce acquisitive crime rates. This can be through physical interventions or community engagement. As part of this funding the Council is looking to commission the delivery of a scheme to replace defective back-yard gates with secure replacements as per the specification below in the project areas of Burnleywood and Bank Hall, Burnley. Properties will be identified by the Safer Streets Steering group.The Contractor will be responsible for making contact with the resident/landlord and arranging appointments. The contractor will liaise with the Safer Streets Project Manager.
