Description
The Isle of Wight Council invites Tenders from suitably qualified suppliers to enter into a Framework Agreement for the provision of Beach and Slipway Cleansing Services on the Isle of Wight. The framework is to run from 01/04/2020 until 31/03/2025 with the option to extend for up to a further year at the sole discretion of the Authority. This is a non-exclusive, single supplier Framework Agreement available to the Authority and Isle of Wight Town and Parish Councils. See link for eligible town and parish councils: http://www.iwight.com/parishcouncils/ .The following Cleansing Services will be required: Machine clean beaches (including slipways & beach steps); Manual litter pick beaches; Clear seaweed (normal amounts and abnormal amounts); Sweeping of slipways & steps; Slipway Cleansing (Hot water jet spray system); Provide skips for debris including siting & collections; Management & waste collection and waste disposal from Wire Baskets and Wall Ring litter bins. Please note that there is no guarantee that the Isle of Wight Town and Parish Councils will use this Framework Agreement. The closing date for receipt of Tenders is 14:00Hrs on 19 December 2019.
