Provision of a Remote Backup Service for Schools

Warrington Borough Council's ICT Service for Schools requires a fully automated, secure, remote backup and recovery service to protect Warrington's schools data, storing it off-site daily to comply with government legislation. The service shall backup and restore schools administration and curriculum data, and data held in the latest supported versions of Capita SIMS and FMS systems. It is the Council's intention for all schools who receive the current remote backup service for schools to migrate and transition to the service. However, the Council does not guarantee that all schools will participate or that participating schools will take up the service for the duration of the contract. To ensure that everything is logged and audited, only correspondence, questions and clarifications raised in the Chest will be addressed by the Council. The Council will not respond to any e-mails, letters or telephone calls regarding this opportunity.
