Introduction to Self-Employment Course, which will be delivered on a 121 basis, or minimal numbers, enabling Black Country Impact \(BCI\) participants to explore, and become knowledgeable in the following areas: Course Content: o Introductions to Self-Employment o Should I go Self Employed o Is Self-Employment right for me o Pros and cons of self-employment o Barriers to Self-Employment A general overview of the following: o Legal status for your company/ Sole Trader/Limited Company o Tax and benefits /Housing/Tax/Grants/NI o How to plan for success o Objective setting o Introduction to marketing and sales o Start-up funding for your business, Resources and tips o Action planning o Writing a Business Plan/Structure/Vision o Cash-Flow Forecasting/Expenditure o Raising Finance o Creating a Website/ Social Media etc o Hiring Staff o Identifying Customers o Sourcing Products Course Delivery The above course must be delivered on a 121 Basis, or with minimal numbers, either face to face or online\.
