Recycling Rewards Scheme

In 2014, the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames were successful in their application for funding from The Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) and awarded £188,625 for incentivising food waste recycling in existing flat developments. Of this allocation £150,000 remains available for the Council to appoint an established operator to deliver the project on our behalf. The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames sought a provider to develop a community points based model, earning participants points for positive waste behaviours.
