Work description

Brunel University London's Department of Economics and Finance has integrated a specialist programme configured on as a zero-credit module on the University's Brightspace teaching platform: Preparation for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)® Program Level I exam.

The Provider is expected to deliver to students that successfully complete all the taught MSc modules In MSc Banking and Finance, and MSc Finance and Investment, a programme intended to prepare those successful students to undertake the February Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)® Program Level I exam based on their current calendar.

A trainer (training team) that is qualified to teach CFA® Program Level I material is required to deliver this programme from late June to early July; this follows the official release of the MSc final module results to the students, which is normally in the middle of June. The programme needs to deliver the CFA® Program Level I curriculum over 10-days from 9am to 5pm allowing for breaks (in the morning, at lunch time and in the afternoon), normally at Brunel University London campus; Kingston Lane, Uxbridge, Middlesex, United Kingdom, UB8 3PH.

The intensive programme to be followed by two further days of revision focused on the February exam (the timing of which will depend on the release by CFA® Institute of any updated instruction for that exam).

To facilitate the revision towards the February exam, students also need access to an Online Portal and/or Mobile Resources. This should include test banks, notes, on-line reading materials plus as is appropriate interactive on-line support (e.g., 17.30-19.00 weekdays).

Access to the on-line resources and/or mobile app, the University will provide to students passing all the taught modules and would be required for student access for the start of the 10-day intensive programme.

Additional information: The procurement documents will be available for unrestricted and full direct access, free of charge from the Brunel e-Sourcing Portal when the opportunity goes live.
