## Description

The University of Bristol's Wolfson Bioimaging Facility based in the Faculty of Life Sciences has a long-established reputation for electron microscopy, including applications of transmission EM that align with its light microscopy facilities \(e\.g\. for CLEM\) and with the GW4 cryo-EM facility for structural biology\. Rejuvenating and consolidating its transmission electron microscopy \(TEM\) requirements onto a single instrument are established priorities for the facility to provide TEM capabilities for a broad range of users from different research disciplines\. The opportunity to purchase a multi-purpose TEM has arisen following the award of a BBSRC ALERT 22 grant\.
