Supply of a Hybrid Powered Mini-Excavator \(Mini Tender\) The University of Birmingham is constructing a brand new state-of-the-art National Buried Infrastructure Facility \(NBIF\) - an experimental research facility for the investigation of Buried Infrastructure, expected completion early 2019\. The £27\.6M NBIF is part of the £217M UK Collaboratorium for Research on Infrastructure and Cities \(UKCRIC\) that will form a co-ordinated set of interlinked national laboratories\. The excavator is required primarily to load or distribute soils / sands / aggregate within the research pit environment\. In order to do this, the following features are seen as essential\.
