## Description

The main requirements of the Medical Service is to make decisions, provide advice, and rationale, on applications against criteria prescribed by the NHS Pensions Regulations, the NHS Injury Benefits Regulations and the NHSBSA for Ill Health Retirement, Deferred Benefit, Permanent Injury Benefit and Temporary Injury Allowance\. Additional information: Contract performance conditions: The Supplier shall either: \(i\) employ each Registered Medical Practitioner to make decisions; or \(ii\) contract directly with each Registered Medical Practitioner to make decisions\. Registered Medical Practitioner is defined in the draft services description, accessible via the Authority’s e-tendering web portal \(BRAVO\)\.
