Diagnostics Non-obstetric Ultrasound Service (NOUS) for NHS Bedfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group

Description

NHS Bedfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group (BCCG) requires qualified organisations to provide the following service: Diagnostics Non-obstetric Ultrasound Service (NOUS). The services will be commissioned using the Any Qualified Provider (AQP) process. In securing services under the AQP process, assurance of competence, quality and safety standards will be required. Any provider will be eligible to join the qualified provider list subject to demonstrating competency against specified criteria. Qualified providers will be expected to deliver the service under the 2016/17 NHS Standard Contract. As a qualified provider there are no levels of guaranteed activity. Payment is made based on actual provision. The commissioner for this service is NHS Bedfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group. The commissioner is supported in this project by ATTAIN HEALTH MANAGEMENT SERVICES LTD , who will be managing this procurement. Attain acting on behalf of NHS Bedfordshire CCG, the Commissioning Organisation, intends to use an e Tendering system in this procurement exercise.
