1217 - Micro Focus X-Ray Source

Description

This piece of equipment is required for multiple purposes. It will initially be used to complete the commissioning of the new National Healthcare Photonics Centre radiation laboratory. Following this initial work it is expected that there will be a wide range of uses for the source that include both investigating medical imaging techniques (note that the source will not be used to carry out any in vivo work) and non-destructive testing.
