Local Bus Services Routes 11, 265 and 374

The Council's requirement under this Contract is for the provision of three local bus services, routes. 11, 265, and 374 within the geographic borough of Thurrock as detailed in the specification of contract requirements included within this pack of documents.

The number 11, 11A, and 11B bus services run between Purfleet Rail Station and Basildon Bus Station, Monday to Friday and Saturday, excluding Bank Holidays, These bus routes allows a direct link to hospital and health services for communities not served by the commercial bus network and provides access to education, shopping, work and leisure facilities. It comprises of three options.

The number 265 bus service runs between West Horndon Rail Station and Grays Bus Station via Bulphan, Orsett, and Socketts Heath, on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, excluding Bank Holidays. This route allows a direct link to hospital and health services for communities not served by the commercial bus network, and provides access to education, shopping, work, leisure facilities

The number 374 bus service running between Grays and Basildon Monday to Friday and Saturday provides links to town centres and transport hubs as well as the regional hospital for communities not served by the commercial bus network.

Additional information: Completed Tenders must be returned online via the In-Tend system. Fax, postal and email submissions will not be considered. Bidders will be required to register on the In-Tend online tendering system prior to being able to download and view the tender documents.

Failure to return your Tender in the correct manner may result in your exclusion from consideration for the Contract.

Tenderers must allow sufficient time before the Closing Date to upload and submit their Tender. The Council reserves the right to reject Tenders received after the Closing Date.
