## Description

CPI require a standalone unit for use in a pilot scale laboratory\. The equipment will have a continuous mode of operation for the primary objective for the separation of biological cells \(whole or disrupted\) from spent fermentation media\. The equipment will enable separation of solid/liquid suspensions at pilot process volume scales \(typically 50-1500L\) and provide results which are comparable & scalable to those achieved with CPI's existing disc stack technology centrifuges \(Existing centrifuges are Alfa laval Clara 20 & Westfalia HFE 45-01-177\)\.
