Description

The Communications Consumer Panel/Advisory Committee for Older and Disabled People (CCP/ACOD) and Ofcom would like to commission a piece of research, including a literature review and expert interviews, exploring best practice in terms of conducting, reporting and actioning research that is inclusive in its approach and provides accurate evidence of the experiences of people who are disabled and/or have a long-term health condition. This includes all forms of disability, including physical disability and neurodiversity. We want to ensure that the research we design and commission informs Ofcom and others to build a knowledge base that informs their ability to enact their regulatory policy and enforcement duties and informs their response as a responsible employer. We want to be a thought leader in inclusivity of input from communications consumers, citizens and colleagues.
