EHRC 1819-39 Accessible information on rights under the Mental Health Act 1983

We are looking for a contractor with expert knowledge of mental health law and policy as well as experience of producing and if possible co-producing materials on equality and human rights that are accessible to the general public including people with a range of communication requirements.

The work will involve designing: • a series of materials which provide to people detained under the MHA a standardised and accessible statement of their rights; • a process for staff within mental health providers to use relevant materials to notify patients about their rights; and • a strategy for dissemination of the notification of rights materials
