Rapid Response Service - Homeless Prevention

Leading on our successful bid to the Department for Communities and Local Government, we are looking for an experienced provider to lead on a Rapid Response Service for newly identified Rough Sleepers and people at risk of rough sleeping in Exeter, Teignbridge, East Devon and Mid Devon.

Core capabilities:

• You will need to provide a flexible service that works to resettle homeless people who have been identified by Exeter City Council and partnering organisations and authorities as being 'New to the Streets' or at risk of rough sleeping. New Rough Sleepers are defined as people who move onto the streets or into the area for the first time or at risk of rough sleeping for the first time.

• The prime role will be to assist new rough sleepers offered emergency accommodation to access and move on to more suitable accommodation options as soon as possible.

Tenders are invited from any suitably qualified and experienced providers. Providers must demonstrate that they are capable of providing advice services and working with rough sleepers. The bidder shall be required to complete appendices 1, 10, 11 and 12 which form the basis of the 'tender response' and return to the address provided in the 'Tender Guidance Notes'
