Description
East Herts Council are currently seeking tenders for the provision of COMPLETION OF SKATEPARK CONSTRUCTION AT CASTLE PARK, BISHOP'S STORTFORD. Works to upgrade the skate park in Castle Park, Bishop's Stortford, commenced in May 2022 and have been partially completed. This Contract is for the completion of the works to upgrade the skate park area, incorporating street skate, a half pipe and a parkour area, alongside associated path improvements and drainage works. The skatepark redevelopment forms part of wider improvement works that are taking place within the park, primarily funded by the National Lottery, East Herts Council and Bishop's Stortford Town Council. As works have been partially completed the skatepark is currently closed for access. It is important, therefore, for works to be completed in as short of a timeframe as possible. The site will be opened up for inspection by prospective tenderers at 2pm on 09 September 2022 and at 2pm on 12 September 2022. Tenderers are requested to wear PPE including steel capped boots and hi-vis tops. Alternative dates can be arranged using the contact details in the Instructions to Tender. Agreement to alternate dates will be dependent upon officer availability. Suppliers wishing to take part in this project are invited to "express interest" which will give access to the full procurement documents in the e-tendering system. Please note the deadline for returns and allow sufficient time to make your return as late returns will not be permitted. Any questions relating to this tender should be made via correspondence on the website and can be addressed to the main contact as shown in the details above.
