\*\*\*\*Please Note\*\*\* This requirement has already been fulfilled therefore this notice is for transparency purposes only\. The University of Southampton is seeking a comprehensive upgrade to an existing excimer laser ablation sampling system installed at the Ocean and Earth Science Geochemistry Facility\. The laser ablation system we wish to upgrade is a New Wave UP193FX containing an ATL ATLEX-SI ArF excimer laser, details in Annex 1\.1-1\.4\. The system was installed in 2009 and is housed in a Class 1000 cleanroom \. We wish to obtain a laser ablation system that has comparable specifications to the current generation of excimer laser ablation systems at a reduced overall cost by reusing components from our existing system\.
