Tanks 5 & 6 Refurbishment - Preparation, Blasting & Lining - Tanks 5 & 6 are semi buried storage tank with one tank side access manway. The shell plates and floor plates are believed to be of lap weld construction. There are 89 roof support columns in this tank; the roof is of concrete and steel plate construction (TBC). There is no lining on either the floor or shell plates. There is a network of steam heating coils still present in the tank. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
