Lot 1 - Asbestos Removals Lot 2 - Asbestos Surveys, Sampling and Air Monitoring PHP manage approximately 4,500 properties for the Borough of Poole, the majority of which contain asbestos. Prior to repairs and major works, management surveys and refurbishment surveys are required, together with re-inspection surveys of common parts. Both PHP and the Borough of Poole have a policy of removal of asbestos rather than encapsulation. The Borough of Poole is responsible for the management of the corporate buildings and other stock not covered by Housing. A programme of regular inspections and management surveys is undertaken as well as works to remove where there is no viable management option. This opportunity also has the provision to be used by Bournemouth Borough Council, Christchurch Borough Council and East Dorset District Council.
