Description

The maintenance and on-going development of the TRS oil and gas portal. TRS is a pre-existing not-for-profit group, originally set up by a group of senior industry leaders, the Skills and Jobs Retention Group, in response to a request made by Vince Cable, the Secretary of State for Business Innovation & Skills (BIS). The TRS portals are maintained by Winchester Consulting who own the IP. In 2016, BEIS awarded a grant to make a portal specifically for oil & gas sector, which builds on the existing reputation that TRS has. The ongoing provision and implementation of the Oil & Gas portal must include sufficient technical and operational input to ensure that the proposed portal can be developed and maintained to support the evolving needs of the sector as part of the wider interface with other TRS platforms and initiatives.
