## Description

The AI Standards Hub \(the 'AISH'\) is a UK initiative led by the Alan Turing Institute, the British Standards Institution and the National Physical Laboratory \(together, the 'Hub partners'\), supported by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology \('DSIT'\)\. The AISH seeks to advance trustworthy and responsible AI through the role of technical standards\. The AISH aims to grow the UK's influence on AI standards by ensuring that: \(a\) the UK AI community is well informed about AI standards; \(b\) the UK AI community can effectively influence and engage in standardisation of AI; \(c\) the UK's voice in AI standards is internationally recognised; and \(d\) standards support AI governance and innovation\.
