Somerset Council also have a broader leadership role in health and care, promoting wellbeing and tackling health inequalities through their public health function\. Healthwatch contributes to the bigger picture by supporting local authorities and their partners to achieve health and care strategic aims and ambitions by bringing people's voices into the heart of commissioning and delivery\.
