Description
Breckland Council (BC) is considering a proposal from a potential partner (Company A) with a commercial proposition to enter into a framework agreement whereby Company A identify, acquire and refurbish c300 residential properties over a maximum 3-year period, which are then let to the Council on a long, inflation-linked lease (3 x 20 year lease periods, 60 years in total) with initial rent at a discount to Local Housing Allowance rates. The council will then manage the properties, being responsible for ongoing lettings and repairs and receiving all rents. BC is seeking a legal adviser to act for the council in the above scenario
