## Description

1656/327/SW/CTI/17 Aluminium/Magnesium Heat Treatment Facility This is a re-tender exercise of tender reference 1629/312/SW/CTI/17 Heat Treatment and Refrigeration Facility\. The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for the supply of equipment to the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre's Casting Group\. Scope of requirement: The requirement is for an Aluminium/Magnesium Heat Treatment Facility which has the ability to heat treat Aluminium/Magnesium based castings up to 600 degrees Celsius\. It is envisaged that the facility will consist of one bottom loading furnace, a transfer system, quench tank, refrigeration and all appropriate ancillary equipment for the complete heat treatment of castings\. The equipment supplied must be designed to be as economical to run as possible\.
