UOW689 Recycling and Waste Services

The University of Worcester is looking to re-tender its Waste Management Services contract. It is anticipated that the tender documents will be available in late July/ early August 2019 with a contract start date of 1 December 2019. The contract is expected to be for two years with the option to extend for two further 12 month periods.

This tender will be for the collection, treatment, transfer and disposal of the University of Worcester's general household/ commercial non-recycled waste, general household/ commercial recylette, cardboard, glass and bulky waste/ skip hire.

Further waste streams to include food waste, confidential waste, bulk offensive waste and sharps, hazardous waste, grease traps and mattresses will be covered in a separate tender UOW717 2018/19 - Specialist Waste Collection.
