Camden aspires to be a truly inclusive borough, where every resident has access to good work. In recent years the Council has made a significant investment to better support all residents that can and want to secure work that enables them to lead secure, sustainable and happy lives. Good Work Camden was established in 2019 in response to high employment rates alongside entrenched inequality. Too many people are unable to access the labour market, and too many people experience in work poverty and precarious employment. The service was designed to support more residents into work and to drive long term reform and a new approach to building a more inclusive economy. Good Work Camden consists of 4 workstreams
