Public convenience and building cleaning – market engagement Teignbridge District Council wishes to undertake market research in to possible solutions for public convenience and building cleaning. Who can attend? The market research is open to any organisation that has an interest in delivering public convenience and building cleaning services to us in the future. What will it involve? We would like to hold a series of one-to-one meetings with interested contractors to take place between Monday 25 July and Friday 29 July 2016. To book a one-hour slot during that week please contact us by registering an interest on our electronic tendering system, ProContract: www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk . Once you have expressed your interest in attending a session you will be contacted to agree an appropriate timeslot. The deadline for expressions of interest is 17:00 on Friday 22 July 2016. Our aims are: • To learn about examples of best practice from a contractor’s perspective • To understand the relevant issues faced by the market • To take account of any innovations in the market • To help shape the scope of the service and inform the specification. It must be stressed that engagement in this market research stage will not constitute a formal expression of interest in any future tendering exercise, or confer any preferential treatment when it comes to the tender process for this procurement.
