Ad-hoc Taxi Services Framework

Sunderland City Council is seeking to establish a ranked Framework for Ad-hoc taxi Services that will be based upon the level of discount offered against set tariff rates.

The framework will cover the following lots:

• Lot 1 - Standard Ad-hoc Journeys • Lot 2 - Short Term Ad-Hoc Routed Journeys • Lot 3 -Wheelchair Accessible Routed Journeys

Lot 1

The provision of a private hire or hackney carriage vehicle (up to 8 passengers) for one-off journey requirements.

Lot 2

The provision of a private hire or hackney carriage vehicle for ad-hoc short term routed journeys that cover the following service areas:

• Social Care (Adults & Children) • Home to School Transport • Community Resource Centre Transport (Adults)

Lot 3

The provision of a private hire or hackney carriage wheelchair accessible vehicle for ad-hoc short term routed journeys within the service areas as shown in Lot 2 above.
