Management and Operation of Coronation Lake & Park, Helston, Cornwall on a 99 year lease basis

Cornwall Council wishes to explore well considered opportunities for enhancing and maintaining the flagship park and leisure facilities at Coronation Park and Lake, Helston, West Cornwall. The Council is seeking a suitably experienced organisation to develop project proposals to source and secure capital funding to invest in the facilities, implement the agreed works and manage the enhanced asset in a financially sustainable manner to in turn consistently deliver high quality services to the public. The site will be transferred by way of lease to the successful organisation for an anticipated duration of 99 years. The intention is to commence operation of the new lease by the beginning of 2017 or as soon as possible afterwards, subject to mutual agreement on terms and conditions etc. As part of the lease arrangement for this concession opportunity the Council requires an annual sum to be provided to cover its ongoing commitments to the immediate area incorporating maintenance requirements.
