Futures support to the DfT Office for Sc

The purpose of this assignment is to provide Strategic Planning and Research services in the form of call off provision of 'futures' expertise, to be used to futureproof decision making, increasing resilience against future uncertainty. This will support the DfT in the delivery of the internal DfT Transport Futures programme, which is run from the office of the Chief Scientific Adviser known as the DfT Office for Science (DO-Science)Transport Futures has been established to help the department anticipate future uncertainty about how we move people and goods around. It aims to add resilience to decision-making in DfT and help it to anticipate and be able to exploit the opportunities offered by technology led change. It will also support the Industrial Strategy Future of Mobility Grand Challenge.
