Description
Stockton on Tees Borough Council's Animal Welfare Service provide an in-house stray dog service under the Environmental Protection Act 1990. They have a duty to seize and detain stray dogs found in the borough for a period of up to 7 days (and longer) unless they are claimed by their owner within this time. In order to facilitate this service, the Council required a contract with a boarding kennel to provide suitable kennelling facilities.
