## Description

As part of its Smart Basingstoke programme, Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council \("the Council"\) is looking to commission consultancy services to support the development of a digital connectivity infrastructure strategy\. The main objective of the study will be to provide options and recommendations as part of a business case on the best approach the council should take to roll out digital infrastructure to better connect communities and businesses\. The focus will be on fibre to the premises as well as the forthcoming introduction of 5G\. The council is keen to understand what role it should play in enabling or delivering digital connectivity infrastructure\. Proposals are being sought to develop a business case on the best approach the council should take\. The business case will be in the form of a report that will consider the strategic, economic, commercial, financial and management case
