## Description

Primarily Infrastructure Engineer and Software Development \(and potentially other technical roles\) capability, in order to enable Continuous Delivery\. This is an agile development method for enabling the safe, rapid and frequent delivery of working infrastructure-as-code and application software\. This in turn realises business benefits by shortening the feedback cycle, facilitating the incorporation of user feedback in the most efficient and effective way\. Continuous Delivery is a key enabler in HMRC's strategy of 'digital by default' and placing customers at the heart of everything we do, providing a highly available, performant and secure cloud platform for hosting all HMRC's public facing digital services\. Anything that impedes the delivery of MDTP and its constituent services poses a risk to the provision of world class online services to HMRC's customers, thereby jeopardising HMRC's ability to deliver on its 'digital by default' agenda\.
