App v2 Development and Operations

Description

This contract covers the medically compliant design, development and nationwide operation of the NHS COVID-19 App and backend services, including the provision of experience design, user research, and disability consulting. It also includes the ongoing development and operational support of the QR registration system and UK interoperability services. The contract also covers design, development and support of further digital services in line with the wider Test & Trace roadmap. This currently includes the development and launch of the Self Isolation payments gateway, as well as proof of concept and early innovation work for other applications in the digital and enable area of the programme.
