Work description
The provision of support and maintenance for the Isle of Wight Council's existing Geographic Information System which is essential for the Authority's continued use of licenses. The contract will commence on 12th January 2023 for a period of three years. The Council owns existing ESRI software which is installed and configured on our server and we need the support and maintenance to be able to continue use, and for continued use of licenses. ESRI do not allow third parties to offer support and maintenance for the system.
The intention of the Council is to direct award a call-off contract to ESRI via CCS Framework RM3821 Lot 2b. The direct award criteria have been met (the requirement must be intrinsically linked to a system already within the customer's organisation; the products they are looking to award must be present on the Government eMarketplace).
The Isle of Wight Council has issued a VEAT notice on 16th December 2022 and has observed a 10 day standstill period which concluded at midnight on 28th December 2022.
