Forestry England will be awarding a contract for the decommission and disposal of existing equipment and refrigerant as per environmental legislation and the supply, installation and commissioning of new suitable refrigeration equipment. Forestry England through its 'carbon free by 2033' pledge requires the adoption of the most efficient technology with least environmental impact. With this in mind the refrigerant we would like to adopt is R744 (CO2).
