Work description
South Downs National Park Authority is seeking a consultant to prepare a Gypsy and Traveller Accommodation Assessment which will inform the preparation of the South Downs Local Plan Review covering the plan period 2022 to 2042. The consultant will be required to review existing GTAAs covering the National Park to provide an overall figure for the Park's needs (broken down to district areas) and use demographic trends to extend this assessment of needs to 2042 and carry out a GTAA for the areas of the National Park not covered by an existing up to date GTAA (Chichester district) for the period 2022-2042 in compliance with 'Planning Policy for Traveller Sites' and any other relevant guidance / legal advice.
