WP3719 - Single Handed Care Training - AWARD

As part of Walsall Council's transformation and Strengths Based approach, the Council are looking to embrace a Single Handed Care approach. In order to ensure that the approach is strategically implemented the Council is looking to engage with a Specialist Training provider who can deliver a RoSPA Level 4 accredited Single-Handed Care training package. The Council will look to training the Adult Social Care Occupational Therapy workforce, representatives from the therapy team in the Acute and representatives from the training departments in both the Local Authority and our providers. The programme should provide the Council with the assurance that our workforce and associated personnel are fully skilled with the latest techniques and safe practice in regard to Single-handed Care.
