Emslie Horniman - Playground Refurbishments

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea are seeking proposals for the refurbishment of two new playgrounds within Emslie Horniman Pleasance (Bosworth Rd London West London W10 5EG)

A series of consultation exercises were carried out in 2021 to get a better understanding of what improvements the local community would like to see. The results of the consultation can be found in the ITT. These findings need to be incorporated into proposals.

Proposals need to include the removal of the equipment and surfacing, the supply and installation of new playground equipment, suitable surfacing, wall repairs (inc. redecoration), and some additional features stated in the specifications. Proposals must be robust and easily maintained. Equipment must meet BS EN 1176, impact attenuating surface must meet BS EN 1177.
