Description
The Council intends to implement a new contract for the provision of acquiring services in relation to the processing of customer payments, made by debit or credit card, in payment for the delivery of the Council's core services, as well as its car park services. The Council's objective is to further reduce the number of customer payments made by cash or cheque in favour of other payment methods. The Council considers that the implementation of a new merchant acquiring service contract will provide an excellent opportunity to introduce change and alternative arrangements for collecting these payments.
