## Description

Defra have provided funding to the Environment Agency \(the Authority\) to help improve agricultural representation in regional water resources plans\. The Environment Agency contracted WSP to create a Supply-Demand-Balance-Assessment \(SDBA\) tool to calculate the surplus or deficit in a catchment for agricultural water use\. This has a baseline \(current position\) and future projections to 2050 which includes effects of climate and socio-economic change\. This has been tested on 5 catchments across England\. This tool can now be used to undertake supply-demand balance assessments at catchment scale\. The Environment Agency would like to run an additional 20 studies in this financial year, including this batch of 5
