Description
The Olive School Preston, part of the Tauheedul Education Trust (TET), is currently temporarily operating out of the lower two floors of London House but requires expansion to accommodate an additional 120 pupils. This scheme involves the refurbishment of the currently unoccupied 2nd floor of London House to deliver additional school facilities to support the expansion of the Olive School Preston. The works will include removing existing partition walls and constructing new partition walls; making good wall, ceiling & floor finishes and refurbishment works to the existing stairwells. New toilet facilities and alterations to the current pumped foul drainage system are to be provided. Mechanical and Electrical alterations will be required to the affected rooms including alterations to the fire alarm, security networks and ICT. There is currently an un-operational lift within the building which requires being brought back into use. The successful contractor will be required to complete the design and detailing of the works. Update: please note a site visit has been schedule to take place on Tuesday 22nd May between 4-6pm for potential tenderers. Please contact Martin Matthewson at Mott MacDonald to confirm your attendance.
