KCL-00000867 - Fire Door Inspection & Survey Services

Kings College London has a requirement to undertake ‘Fire Door Inspections and Surveying’ Services across a number of King College London sites (see Appendix A). Our Asset Management team are responsible for the operational maintenance of the specified buildings and it is estimated there are in excess of 10,000 fire doors across the College Estate. This includes doors to the offices within offices, all doors leading to the fire escape corridors, the doors within the corridors and includes services riser cupboard doors.

Tenderers are required to supply labour and materials to carry out the inspection to the existing doors on all levels and provide asset data for input to the new CAFM system. For each door, a delap report alongside CAD drawings, Asset Register and Schedule of Defects must be produced.

The site visit on the 12th July will be held at the Strand Campus. Please meet at the Strand Building reception at 10 am.
