Todmorden Library RAAC Roof Replacement Works

Description

The Borough Council of Calderdale invites you to submit a Tender for RAAC Roof Replacement at Todmorden Library. The works shall comprise the demolition of the reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC) roof and associated building elements at Todmorden Library, Todmorden as indicated within drawings. The demolition or dismantling of a structure must be planned and carried out in such a manner as to prevent danger or, where it is not practicable to prevent it, to reduce danger to as low a level as is reasonably practicable. The arrangements for carrying out such demolition or dismantling must be recorded in writing by the Principal Contractor before the demolition or dismantling work begins. The works will also include refurbishment of the retained building fabric beneath the roofing area as indicated within the drawings. Site visits are a condition of tendering and dates will be published via the messaging portal.
