Description

NMiTE is a brand new HE institution with a mission to address the UK engineering skills shortage. To deliver the first phase of teaching and administration facilities in time for the first full cohort of 350 students in September 2020, NMiTE needs to acquire land and buildings within the city of Hereford, suitable for redevelopment or conversion, commencing in early 2018. To ensure that such acquisitions are economically viable, and within approved budgets, NMiTE will need detailed costings of the work necessary, on a building-by-building basis, prior to acquisition and the appointment of Consultants and others. QS and Cost Consultancy Services have been commissioned to support NMiTE's development team with cost estimates for the work likely to be necessary for the redevelopment or conversion of all buildings identified as necessary for the first phase, and to advise upon the options for packaging the required works.
