ITT for the Provision of Base of Beach Field Trial of Passive Seismometer Technique Tender Close Date : 12\.00 NOON, WEDNESDAY 24 JANUARY 2018 A reconnaissance trial of a portable, non-invasive, passive seismometer has indicated that the technique can provide indicative beach thickness and variability in beach composition, together with significant vertical and lateral variations in superficial deposits and bedrock geology\. The Council wishes to undertake a full-scale field trial of the passive seismometer technique\.
