ChatHealth is Devon Public Health Nursing's confidential text messaging service. It allows parents, carers, and young people to contact a member of our Public Health nursing team for advice, information or support. ChatHealth helps families reach the service earlier, ask questions discreetly, and access support without needing an appointment. It is widely used across Public Health Nursing in Devon and nationally. In addition to the Chat Health texting service, Devon PHN have 3 public facing websites that provide evidence-based information and guidance for children, young people and families that aligns to health visiting and school nursing service models. The service includes hosting, technical management, routine maintenance and content updates in response to service or policy changes. The websites complement the Chat health texting platform.
