CWC20129 - Bob Jones Community Centre - Roof Replacement

Carry out works for the roof replacement at the Bob Jones Community Centre

The flat roof to the west of the building has failed with water ingress to the double height sports hall below. A survey of the roof and an accompanying report was undertaken by a roofing specialist. The surveys revealed the following:

1. The roof construction does not correspond with the 'as built' construction information provided by the contractor.

2. There appears to be several issues of poor workmanship which may have contributed to the early failure of the roof.

3. Maintenance access to the roof (as it currently is arranged) is less than ideal from the point of safety for operatives.
